The five finalist teams will be assigned a seasoned mentor familiar with the business plan process. Mentors have agreed to provide 12 hours of time to each team. Finalist teams will first meet their mentors in December, 2009.
Finalists must submit their business plans by March 12th, 2009 and then make a dress rehearsal presentation before making their final 30 minute presentation to BPC judges on March 27th, 2010. Business plans and presentations will be evaluated by the judges and the resulting prize monies announced at the Entrepreneurship Banquet on April 8th, 2010.
Finalists must also present a summary of their work at the Stander Symposium on April 14th, 2010. In addition, finalists will be strongly encouraged to submit their plans to external competitions the following year, and funding for entrance fees, subject to availability, will be provided.
